Overview#
BotSync is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) product, operated as a Sole Proprietorship in India. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how subscription cancellations and refunds are handled for paid BotSync plans.
Because BotSync is a digital service that is activated and made fully accessible immediately after payment, subscription fees are generally non-refundable, as explained below.
Subscriptions and billing#
Paid BotSync plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, or as stated on the pricing page). Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period using your saved payment method, until you cancel.
WhatsApp conversation charges levied by Meta are billed at Meta's rates with no markup and are separate from your BotSync subscription fee.
Cancellation#
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, or by emailing support@botsync.in.
When you cancel, your plan simply stops renewing at the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again, and you keep access to your paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds for the unused part of a billing period.
Refunds#
BotSync is a digital service that is activated immediately on payment and is fully accessible from that point. For this reason, subscription fees already paid are non-refundable once your account is active.
As a limited exception, we will issue a refund in the following cases:
- A duplicate or accidental charge — for example, you were billed twice for the same period.
- A verified technical failure on our side that prevented your account from being activated or accessed, and which we are unable to resolve within a reasonable time.
- Any refund explicitly required by applicable law.
How refunds are processed#
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment partner, Razorpay. Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days. The time for the amount to actually reflect in your account then depends on your bank or card issuer.
How to cancel or request a refund#
Email support@botsync.in from the email address registered to your BotSync account. Please include your account/workspace name and the payment or order ID where possible, so we can locate your subscription quickly.
