FAQ

Common questions about the Android app

Is iOS included?+

Not in the current focus. BotSync mobile is Android-first for now — that's where the bulk of our SMB and field-sales agents in India already are. iOS is on the roadmap once Android stabilises across the validation cohort.

Do agents need to uninstall before every update?+

No — as long as the APK is signed with the same release key. BotSync's update flow is designed around that: same signing key across versions, in-app update check, install over the existing install. No data loss, no re-login.

How do agents install it the first time?+

Share the BotSync release link with your team. They tap, grant install-from-link permission once (Android default), and the signed APK installs. Subsequent updates flow through the in-app update check.

Does the mobile app work offline?+

It works degraded — recent conversations stay visible, but sending and stage changes require connection. We queue outbound actions and apply them when connection returns.

Can agents see the whole workspace or only their own leads?+

Same role-based access as web. An agent sees what they're allowed to on the web — owners and admins see more, agents see their queue.

What is call-log sync, and when will it ship?+

It matches Android's call log to lead profiles — incoming/outgoing/missed calls get linked to the right lead with optional post-call notes. It's currently in a validated rollout (opt-in per agent) and will be GA once we close the privacy and matching-accuracy validation.

Is the mobile app priced separately?+

No. It's part of every BotSync plan. Every paid seat can install and use the mobile app — no add-on charge.
